Program Approach
The program combines classroom instruction, hands-on practice, movement-based learning, and guided clinical application to help students build both technical skill and professional confidence.
Students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and understand the relationship between anatomy, movement, recovery, and long-term client care.


Program Curriculum Breakdown
A structured progression from foundational knowledge to hands-on clinical application

Foundations
Anatomical position, movement terminology, planes of motion, palpation, fascia, and connective tissue basics.

Systems & Pathology
Skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, and other body systems with common clinical considerations.

Technique Development
Swedish massage, bodywork fundamentals, muscle identification, hands-on testing, and progressive skill development.

Clinical Practice
Orthopedic assessment, pain management, intake, documentation, treatment planning, and real-world application.

Professional Development
Ethics, special populations, business practices, career longevity, final evaluations, and integration.

Choose Your Program Path
Physiologic Academy offers two program length options. Both tracks prepare students for professional massage therapy practice, with the 800-hour track adding expanded clinical development and advanced hands-on training.


600-Hour Professional Track
Designed for students seeking an efficient path into professional massage therapy practice with a strong clinical foundation.
Program Length: 600 hours
Instructional Schedule: 27 instructional weeks / 22.5 hours per week
Start Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
Winter Break: December 21, 2026 – January 4, 2027
Final Instructional Day: March 27, 2027
Graduation: April 3, 2027

Program designed for students pursuing licensure and foundational clinical readiness.
Includes:
• Anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Massage theory and hands-on technique training
• Pathology, ethics, and professional standards
• Supervised clinical practicum
• MBLEx preparation


800-Hour Advanced Clinical Track
Designed for students seeking deeper clinical skill development, expanded hands-on experience, and advanced movement-based training.
Program Length: 800 hours
Instructional Schedule: 36 instructional weeks / 22.5 hours per week
Start Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
Winter Break: December 21, 2026 – January 4, 2027
Final Instructional Day: June 5, 2027
Graduation: June 12, 2027

Program designed for students pursuing advanced clinical confidence, athletic populations, or long-term specialization.
Includes everything in the 600-hour track, plus:
• Expanded supervised clinical hours
• Advanced kinesiology lab training
• Sports and performance applications
• Movement assessment and treatment planning
• Business development and career preparation
